September 20, the UNFPA Tajikistan office organized for the partners a master-class on modern information and communication technologies and methods of disseminating information on activities.
The event was held within the framework of communication and advocacy strategy on optimization and automatization of document management processes with partners. The session is also devoted to the corresponding plan of communication activities for campaigning and raising public awareness of their activities.
Participants of the training session included representatives of partner government bodies from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. Together with them, representatives of partner public organizations and UNFPA Tajikistan staff also received the knowledge.
Within the master class framework theoretical knowledge about online technologies based on Google products were presented for participants. After the theory, they had practical steps to install and configure programs for storage, synchronization, and cataloging and information exchange.
As noted by the master class participants all these technologies allow saving a significant amount of time and money for document processing. At the same time, the document circulation processes, their safety and security, as well as availability on various types of equipment – computers, tablets and smartphones – are simplified.
