February 2022, the United Nations Population Fund in Tajikistan (UNFPA) and the Tajikistan Family Planning Association (TFPA) within the UK government funded CSSF GBV project for Central Asia in cooperation with the Committee on Religious Affairs, Regulation of National Traditions, Celebrations and Rituals under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan organized the sessions for women activists under the topic – Family and healthy lifestyle.
The main purpose of the sessions was to involve women activists in promoting healthy lifestyle and preventing domestic violence.
Sessions were conducted in cities and regions of the Republic of Tajikistan (Dushanbe, Bokhtar, Khujand and Rasht) and 120 women activists were covered with sessions and provided with informational materials concerning the ways to prevent and address GBV.
